Faith-a-Thon
Age: 6th-8th Graders
2012 Date: Saturday, April 28th and Friday, May 11th
Where: Saturday, April 28th, at the Archbishop Cousins Catholic Center. Friday, May 11th, at the TYME OUT Youth Ministry and Retreat Center
We are changing the time of the 2012 Saturday event to the Saturday, April 28th, to accommodate the Religious Ed. programs that finish by May. The Friday Event will still be the 2nd Friday of May
Objectives:
- To grow and develop young people's knowledge of their Catholic faith
- To learn the language, history, and tradition which is the foundation for our faith
- To have fun doing all of this!
The Faith-a-thon is an annual event that is co-sponsored by the Milwaukee Archdiocese. For over 10 years, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders have been coming to TYME OUT to play a series of games that help them learn their faith facts. The schools and parishes create teams of middle school youth who play games based on the commandments, sacraments, scripture, doctrine, church history, saints, etc, with questions based on the curriculum of the various religion textbooks used in archdiocesan schools and religious education programs. This event usually takes place the second week of May, so check the registration form for this year's date. It is always a fun filled day for all involved.
We are looking forward to year 12 of the Faith-a-thon in 2012 which will be on Friday, May 11th and Saturday, April 28th 2012, and we would love if you would join us.

We make use of all the rooms in the building when we have 27 teams from around the Milwaukee Archdiocese
How fast can you answer "Quik Questions"? A fast paced game that the kids do well with.
Dancing to "Get Down, cause He lifts me up." It is always great to have over 200 kids dancing in our newly painted gym.
