TYME OUT has many opportunities for junior high days of reflection, including the following:
The Leadership Retreat deals with self-awareness, problem solving, team building, communication, leadership skills, and conflict resolution. This is a very active retreat which suits junior high students very well, and lays the foundation for good leadership. Many 7th and 8th grade classes make this retreat part of their yearly curriculum.
A Transition Retreat is offered for 8th graders leaving the comfort of their Catholic grade school and moving on to the bigger pond of high school. This can be a very critical transition time and the retreat emphasizes the ways in which God is a part of this journey. This retreat is usually scheduled for the early spring as that transition to high school begins.
