ABOUT OUR CAMPS

For over 15 years, SummerTYME Camps have brought kids from diverse backgrounds together to a safe and fun environment about 30 miles outside Milwaukee.

Our camps provide middle school youth (entering grades 6-9) with a six day, five night residential camp experience.  SummerTYME Camps create an environment which foster Character, Confidence and Community through focused, themed instruction (by coordinators who are experts in their field) as well as recreational activities.

OUR STAFF

Our staff are hired for their experience and qualifications in working with children.  We pride ourselves in providing a caring atmosphere for all children.  In selecting staff, we look for individuals who are responsible, caring, patient, enthusiastic, strong leaders, and are willing to go that extra mile.

All staff undergo a background check, as well as participate in an intensive training that further prepares them for the camp season.

Our Camp Staff have been hired for the 2008 summer, if you would like the Camp Director to keep your name on file please send an email.

HEALTH, SAFETY and NUTRITION

Each camper's safety is our greatest concern.  Campers are closely supervised, and access to our camp property is monitored and controlled.

Our Camp Director and Health Director are First Responder trained and certified, and every staff member is trained in First Aid, CPR, and AED.  Staff are available 24 hours a day to provide medical assistance, even if it's just TLC!  In case of emergency, we are located just minutes away from Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Our professional kitchen staff takes pride in preparing food that is both nutritious and appealing to children.  Options are available at each meal to meet special dietary needs that a camper may have (ie. vegetarian, lactose intolerant, etc.).

FEE ASSISTANCE

Our belief is that a child who wants to come to camp should have that opportunity; no child should be turned away because of financial limitations.  Full and partial fee assistance are available to those who qualify.  Click Here for Camp/Fee Assistance Application.
